I was disappointed as to the amount of content regarding the 4014 but I did enjoy the part regarding the history with the Chinese.

This was decent coverage overall and especially the Chinese history which should be told to all Americans since today there are so many people in our country who don't want to work.  I enjoyed the news report and at least most people across our vast country got the chance to see the Big Boy 4014.

CBS gave the UP enormous value in PR with this program . It would have been better if CBS had also mentioned the Irish and others that built the UP portion westward .
Still, the 4014 and Ed Dickens and his crew shined in this story.

i noticed CBS mentioned the name of, or showed, a certain UP bureaucrat more often than they mentioned the name of the railroad or the number of the engine. that's personal PR at its finest!
