8. Stopping to take on some coal in Atlantic at the depot. Some on lookers were there too. 9. With RFofE Jim Keatts looking on, the special heads for Council Bluffs to be turned and tie up for the night. I broke the chase and headed home. Thanks to all involved for a great weekend of steam. I might go after it Wednesday but am watching the weather report as they’re calling for rain the next five days. You got it in the sun though, good work!

No, those are the PRR P70 Coaches that were used on the Austin Steam Train's excursions down here around Austin, Texas pulled by SP/T&NO MK-5 2-8-2 #786 and the Austin and Texas Central ALCo RSD15 #442. They were painted painted tuscan, then red, then pullman green to look like Southern Pacific Harriman Cars. They were each named after the Highland Lakes of the Colorado River that runs through Austin; Lake Buchanan, Lake Inks, Lake Lyndon Baines Johnson, Lake Marble Falls, Lake Travis, and Lake Austin.
