I did talk them into having the sheriff get shot. Roger Hogan Chama, NM Train Stuff Date: 07/05/19 08:35 Re: GLrr = Regulators At Devil's Gate Author: aehouse Hokey and stupid. I avoid train rides that offer these antics. I'm there for the railroad experience, not a bunch of local clowns showing off.

They brand Tourist activities. Railfans dont pay the bills. Date: 07/05/19 13:57 Re: GLrr = Regulators At Devil's Gate Author: wabash2800 We have a tourist railroad in Southern Indiana that does that but only infrequently on designated dates. I can say that I have a coworker who recently took her husband, children and grandchildren to ride that train. And she had never rode a train before. They had a great time (better than if they had ridden Amtrak.) Believe me, I didn't hear that "never again" thing from them. I rode that trip down there once when I was in college years ago and thought it was very entertaining. If it gets folks to ride the train, more power to them. Often fans rather photograph the train than buy tickets and ride.
