Cooperstown & Charlotte Valley RR at Milford, NY will have their annual railfan day with a Sesquicentennial Express at 1 pm July 13, 2019 using steam Viscose #6.  This notice is because the NRHS chapter missed the deadline for RailPace Magazine account of the shocking death of a club member who was handling all the advertising.  Engine will arrive Friday 7/12 and given some test runs.  Milford Park Ry (18.5”gage) will be operated for first time in many years.  Steam powered train-Big Hook Demo to MP 6: 10-11:30 AM. This is the first steam on C&CV since Walter Rich ran the line with a 0-6-0 many years ago. Track car rides south of Milford.  Steam 1 PM to 4:30 PM round trip to Cooperstown. Gold Spike Ceremony.  Other events. Food sales by Milford High School during lunch 11-2:00. Fireworks 9 PM. Dixieland Band 10-Noon.
Sunday July 14, 2019 10: AM Steam on train ride with demonstration use of Jordan Spreader to MP 6.   1:00 PM -3:30 PM Steam powered photo freight to Dreams Park.
