4014 pulls freight up Archer Hill

Today's midday eastbound departure of UP Big Boy 4014 included 21 lucky loaded covered hoppers, here making easy work of the climb out of the Crow Creek valley and Cheyenne nearing Archer, WY. === === = === JLH

Cool! I was told the cars were empty. Thanks! Still made easy work out of them, and the diesel did not appear to be helping as it went by.

Please clarify, as to "cement", i.e. powdered "cement", or some other compound?

Probably Portland cement powder produced under the standards of ASTM C150.

Edit: Probably out of the Eagle Materials plant at Laramie.

I am not Ed.
I was standing right next to HGG when he took that photo ..

I hope some of the video takers that were filming next to us will post their work. The roar was almost deafening when 4014 went by.
