That's fine, but far too many people go into meltdown mode if somebody has an opinion different than their own.  Some of the people that don't want to come here because somebody has a different viewpoint or skewers one of their sacred cows need to grow up.

Yes...
It’s easy to take some things way too serious.... and to take offense way too easily.....

This is a remarkable hobby.
At HICO, years ago, Hank Webber
( Scoop de Jour) was very good at poking people’s balloons that were filled with too much gravity and seriousness.

At tense moments he could bring us all back to a grounded and stable state...with humor and biting sarcasm.... I was often the target of his barbs... the others of the engine crew appreciated Hank’s taking me down ‘a peg, or two’..now and then.

He is very good a poking preposterous attitudes and pompous posturing...

It kept HICO folks centered on our ‘public’ and on our paying customers and their families...
They wanted enjoyment, not drama and scowls..

Hank was often good at getting Ross “Down off his high-horse” attitudes.

It was a key that our Team’s visible enjoyment was responsible for our announced trips selling-out in under 3 days...

People and families loved taking our ‘Safaris’ to Adventure Land...
They identified with our Car Attendants and with the engine crews.. Knew many of them by names and family.

Thanks for responding...

W.

No, it's a private site and we have to obide by the owner's rules. What's so hard about that?

I guess RR’s sarcasm is a little too subtle for literal minds.

We we all have the option of turning-off subject matter from our devices.
In today’s world, there is no pure ‘delete’ action available—- it’s all preserved in cyber space....you just no longer see “ it” on your device.

With smart phones, all the various data collection software is constantly running and recording —- there is ‘forensic’ software that allows many other folks to access ‘directory’ data, audio and visual, at any time.  The complete collected data from billions of smart phones is continually collected, stored, ‘sold’ and distributed, as well as hacked—— on a continual basis.

Most smart phones do not have easy access to remove the battery —— so they continuously are in contact with several cell towers at once...   And there are “unlicensed” ( I.e. ‘foreign’)   cell receptor ‘towers’ ( in politically “target-rich”) areas of the country that are continuously collecting transmissions of everyone's cell-phone communications, picked-up in those listening areas.

But, the term ‘deleted’ is not a realistic action, in the conventional meaning.
Its ALL saved, stored and manipulated  by millions of “analytic-snoop ware” systems.... most transactions are are collected and sold for marketing purooses —— directed at you...

If you really want to cut-off the continual contact of your smart phone, keep it in a metal box ( like a metal tool-box) to prevent radio waves from escaping.

^ ^ POST OF THE YEAR!! ^ ^

Everyone needs to lighten up, take a breath and stop looking for things to be outraged about. The world hasn’t changed as much as the people living in it. It seems we are constantly “walking on eggshells” when it comes to communicating with each other about anything. Opinions are like noses, everyone has one and no two are alike. So relax, listen and glean the knowledge that others offer, discard the rest and move on. Statements made “. . with humor and biting sarcasm” have their place as Wes has stated and can be a very valuable part of life - if your willing to glean the knowledge they offer.

Stepping off my soapbox now. Sorry you had to see me this way. Ha!!
