I picked up this new Book at The Original Whistle stop in Pasadena this past Friday and have to say it's well worth the $20.00 for the ride. Great read and pictures of the history from day one on the park grounds to its restoration finally.

Original source mentioned was the Eastern California Museum, so far it appears driving to Panaseda
and buying the book from Freddie might be a lot easier.
