4449 Daylight Passenger Cars

Is the trainset of Daylight cars that 4449 used in years past still available?  Are they all seperate ownership?

No.

  Are they all

Pretty much, yes. Although some groups of cars were owned by one individual, as I recall.

Probably the only real Daylight car on that train stored inside is the PRS 2397 car at Orange Empire -- barn 7.
Been inside for probably 15+ years now.

two of the cars are in Portland:  6800 coach. at Oregon Rail Heritage Center and is in regular use on our Holiday Express and will be used for the National Garden Railway convention event 8/28 here in Portland on the OPR.  the 3300 is also in the area.   both rail cars continue to be owned by the Pacific NW Chapter, NRHS.    Arlen

A few of the coaches were marooned when the ex-NWP went out of service north of Santa Rosa, CA.  I believe several are still there.
