It is still there, but no longer used. Last time I saw it working was late last summer. Shortly after, around August or September 2018, a trackmobile arrived to take over. Since then the S6 has not moved, while the trackmobile instead is used a few times a week.

Kettle Valley Railway in Summerland,B.C. has an operational S6 # 803. Was SP 1050, then Portland Terminal 46, then Neptune Terminals 803.

National RR Museum in Green Bay, Wisc has an x SP S6 unit operable. Has been painted as C&NW and GB&W while there.

I recall mention of a couple of xSP S6's still at a chemical plant in Canada recently.

There's a T-6 owned by the Georges Creek Ry at Luke, Md.

N&W T6 # 41 is preserved in the museum in Roanoke, VA.

Arkansas & Missouri has a T6, I think it's stored/retired now in Springdale,Ark.

For many years, there was an idle S-6 at Hamilton City CA at the former Holly Sugar Plant.  It is now scrap metal somewhere. Sad; it was still operable until the end.  I and some TO members tried to arrange a purchase from a (now proven) corrupt demolition contractor but he skipped town and ownership of the S-6 transferred to a legal limbo.  Yearly, I would go by and take a photo and then one day it was gone.

DOW Chemicals n Fort Saskatchewan Alberta (NE of Edmonton) has 2 ex. SP S6's that are standby power, and get used when one of their gensets is down. To the west near Daugh AB On Track Railway Services has one of the ex. DOW/SP units that sees service moving cars around their facility. In Saskatchewan Saturday Locomotive Services has an ex. Neptune Bulk Terminal S6, currently out of service but has run in the past. The unit is stored in Readlyn SK.
