Owner Wes Swift and his wife are two of the people of the rear platform. Wes and friends just finished repainting it (not yet lettered) and the first class section is finished. Wes bought the remains in 1994.

I'm not a fan of Amtrak's recently imposed restrictions preventing riders from sitting in the open section of an observation car. However, riding in an observation car on a train moving slowly over a tourist railroad train is very different from riding in the outside section of a car moving at track speed over a Class 1 railroad. |
