Two steamers this weekend at Monticello.
Author: Off-pending

This coming weekend at Monticello Railway Museum during our Railroad Days event we will have 2 pieces of equipment under steam.

Southern 2-8-0 #401 will be pulling a passenger train as 1 of 3 trains running.

And our Bates & Rogers locomotive crane will tentatively be operating during the event as our crews plan to use the crane to move some items around.

You can find more info about Railroad Days at our website or follow us on Facebook.

Once again, it makes no sense to me that MRYM does not include this weekend on the "401 in Steam Page."  Someone hitting on that page directly from a search engine may assume the list is all-encompassing and skip since this is apparently not a "401 in Steam" weekend.  If it's only running on some trains that can easily be mentioned.
