Steam & Excursion > 2 more from StrasburgDate: 10/09/19 21:07 2 more from Strasburg Author: Q4960 A couple of more from the photo shoot at Strasburg this last Saturday. Both of 4-8-0 #475. First, a black and white version that I posted earlier, with 3 Amish boys and their dogs. Second is of the train around sunrise.

But it still needs talent behind the camera to compose it all together. And this image has that talent behind it!!! Absolutely stunning...

The caps the Amish boys were wearing seem to date the photo from that time period too. Thankfully, they used the SS boxcar in the train rather than the ancient "Union Line" DS boxcar that predates the time period.

those "Glintlers". Lerro did well on this one! Nice capture. Greg Scholl http://www.gregschollvideo.com Date: 10/10/19 18:39 Re: 2 more from Strasburg Author: Bucyrus-Erie Just piling on ... yup, two really great photos.
The B&W really could be out of a book of historical photos. Love it. Jim Lee Lake Hopatcong, NJ Date: 10/10/19 20:29 Re: 2 more from Strasburg Author: santafe199 Hey there Roger! Now that I'm setteled into my motel room I've taken the opportunity to look closer at the B/W image. Holy cow!! Just DOUBLE DOUBLE the compliments I had for tody's IOTD winner. BTW: I'll go on record and say this B/W image is tomorrow's IOTD winner... :^)
