Steam & Excursion > UP 4014 Shoving to Yermo (Entire Consist Shown)

On Saturday Oct 12th, after dropping its Rail Giants passengers off at Barstow, the Big Boy shoved its train all the way to Yermo.  I was at the road crossing between Nebo and West Daggett to catch this interesting component to the trip.

The entire train is shown as a side view.  I was getting nervous that a BNSF Z9 would block the view of the steam train but luckily it showed up afterwards.

Zoomed-in to West Daggett, as the Z9 cleared, it revealed the 4014 still shoving which in turn was revealing a military train parked on UP Main 1 waiting to be picked up and taken to Yermo.  In addition, a westbound BNSF Stack is tied down on Main 3, being staged because Tehachapi was still a mess of traffic from the derailment several days earlier at Woodford.   I caught 4014 12 different times, and this zoomed-in West Daggett view ended up being one of my favorite moments.

Great video, I was on board Sat, City of San Francisco Dome car, quite a trip !
