Steam & Excursion > RBM&N Christmas train schedule with #425

Along with Reading and Northern's expanded schedule and locations, it was announced 4-6-2 #425 will power every train out of North Reading Outer Station.
These trips run to Port Clinton and return with a diesel on the rear of the train.
For a cheap $15 thrill, ride on the first car behind the steam engine and count how many times 425 drowns out the Christmas music.
Actually these trains are nice, they'll give candy to you no matter your age, you can say hello to Santa and his Ms. if you're so inclined, and the music is not that irritating
Running at 10:30 a.m.; 1:00 p.m.; and 3:30 p.m. on every weekend  starting 11/30-12/1 through 12/21-12/22, plus 12/23-12/24

That's good news!  There's only been a few times (that I can recall) when the 425 has been used after the fall foliage trips.  Might need to plan for the CNJ 113 and R&N 425 the same day!

 The CNJ 113 will be powering the Santa trains between Minersville and Schuylkill Haven on November 30th. and December 1st.
