4014 on TV in Houston
Author: Copy19

KPRC, channel 2, Houston did a very nice report today on the 4014.  Caught a glimpse of Dave Seidel from the Camerail Club in Omaha helping a visitor off the train.  He is one of the club's volunteers manning the "Experience Union Pacific" exhibit car in the train.  They also featured a very enthusiastic railfan.  Also an interview with Ed Dickens.

KPRC has a veteran cameraman named John Treadgold who is a railfan. I'll bet he got that "assignment."

KTRK had a helicopter follow the 4014 on its arriaval inteh Houston area. Channel 13 also had its resident railfan , newscaster Dave Ward, who retired not too long ago.

Some folks are upset about drones being used for Railfan photography...But I will take a drone or two any day, then
someone in a helicopter, hanging above the site, drowning out the audio on any video.
