An "impossible" day with UP4014 thru Oklahoma
Author: OKTrainboys

Tanner and I were invited into the Cab of 4014 on its journey across NE Oklahoma. Tanner rode two segments and I rode two segments while the other chased. GIANT crowds...perhaps total over 50 thousand plus for the day, especially at Claremore, estimated by the crew, and some of the largest crowds of the entire tour. I have some cool stuff to share. Here we are at mainline track speed between Sallisaw and Gore on a brilliant Saturday morning at 10AM It reminded me of 1522's last weekend in the Ozarks in September 2002, just a little chillier. This time Tanner is not 4, he is 21. 11.16.19

Really nice to see the public turnout for this. Good for Union Pacific. And glad you got some cab time.
