Steam & Excursion > Whistle questionDate: 12/01/19 14:04 Whistle question Author: jcaestecker I know very little about steam whistles but after watching the vid posted by californiarails yesterday featuring Fillmore and Western #14, I couldn't help but notice that it sounds very much like ATSF 3751. Anyone know if they're the same type?

Date: 12/02/19 20:35 Re: Whistle question Author: Westbound Last night I watched the movie “White Heat”, which I had not seen for some years. A great film from around 1950 with opening scenes on the SP starring 4-6-2 #2440 in passenger train service. Same chime whistle!
