Irondale, AL Steam Shop

Is the former NS/Southern Steam shop in Irondale still standing?  I was looking at Google Earth and it looks like a similar type structure is in the North East corner of the yard.  Is that it?

Light running repairs to diesels.  It was originally built as a diesel shop, anyway.

Light running repairs?!?
Birmingham is a System Shop. Maintenances, traction motor change out, wheel true, turbos, power assemblies, air compressors, and some wreck repair.

Where were these diesel repairs done before the steam shop was closed?
