Tom Date: 01/18/20 20:54 Re: "President Wahington" Author: Panamerican99 There is a great fast running pacing sequence of this engine in the DVD "B&O Classics", filmed by Dr. Howard Blackburn in 1956 when the 5200 was running passenger trains out of Louisville, Ky to Cincinnati.

It will never happen due to the mismanagement of the people in charge of that museum. Do not go to the B&O R.R. Museum in Baltimore. You will be completely disappointed and outrageous with the happenings going on there. I am not making this up. Claire shops when they burned. The restoration is purely cosmetic.

It inspired a painting that I did, in fact, (inserted below). I've always wondered why the 5200 wasn't modernized, as were so many of the presedent series pacifics.

Quit bitching about the donated cars from 40 years ago. |
