D&S 476 at the US 550 Bridge

After departing Hermosa where it took on water, D&S 476 climbs the grade to Rockwood.  Seen here passing under the US 550 bridge, this is one of the best places to photograph the train. 
Tomorrow on our youtube channel will be the video of this train as it departs Durango, stops at the Snowdown Balloon Rally, and continues up to Rockwood.

One of my favorite spots to shoot photos and videos of westbound D&S trains. The locomotives are usually working hard at this point and the sound is great!
