Steam & Excursion > SP&S 700 update

as the 15 year inspection and other maintenance goes forward, project manager Randy Woehl has assnounced that the 700 tube installation portion of the project will be occuring during the February weeks of 17 and 24.   During this time the area between the 700 and 4449 will be blocked off to facilitate this process as "front row standing" will be available.  Visitors are welcome during the Oregon Rail Heritage Center open hours:  Thursday/Friday = 1 to 5, Saturday/Sunday = Noon to 5.   The volunteers of both the Pacific Railroad Preservation Association and Friends of SP4449 will be doing this work along with contractor C.W.
