Author: Q4960 According to the East Broad Top Facebook page a special announcement concerning the future operation of the railroad is to be made on Friday February 14, 2020 at 11 a.m. Eastern time. In my search elsewhere I could find no other such post or information. Just wondering if anyone else has seen anything else on this?

Word on the significance of the event is leaking out. A Facebook friend was gathering a small group of fans to head up to Orbisonia this morning (where the announcement is to be made at the depot, from what I understand). Because there was a non-secret announcement was that there was going to be an announcement. An embargoed press release was shared with proper parties and a public invitation was made.  |
