Perhaps it will take another 12 hours to reach Barstow whwer it will head northwest through Mojave and Tehachapi to finally reach Kalama, Washington. I just used the timimg of the Southwest Chief from Flagstaff to Barstow to estimate how long it might be hitting the junction at Barstow.
