(Not to fret expense - I did spend 5 years restoring it, and been a supporter for 33 years.) Edited 1 time(s). Last edit at 02/23/20 09:20 by Spikes. Date: 02/23/20 13:58 Re: ATSF 3751 collectibles Author: engrbill47 Thank you for you work on the restoration of 3751! I chased it from Cajon through the end of daylight on Route 66 on the trip to Flagstaff. When might 3751 be exercised agIN?

Rode the original trips in Dec. '91, the first Grand Canyon Limited, and both railfairs in Sacramento. Great locomotive. Hope she can get out again after the 1472 is complete.

A full boiler warm water pressure test is ongoing last week of Feb 2020. After FRA cert., replace pipes, lagging, jacket - big jobs. Also, the turntable is being restored so 3751 can move. The tender is disconnected at present. Date: 02/24/20 11:28 Re: ATSF 3751 collectibles Author: JimBaker Thanks Spike for the update,
Much Appreciated. It would be like having the alpha (3751 built in 1927) and omega (2926 built in 1944) on the same train!
