Linden Hill (song about 611)
Author: B-LineRailfan

This is a video for an original song I wrote inspired by the June 5, 2016 Manassas to Riverton Junction, Virginia steam excursion led by Norfolk & Western Class J #611 when the 611 pulled a 20 car train over wet rails, crossing the Blue Ridge Mountains on Linden Hill. Many thanks to my friend Julie Hindman for singing the part of the train dispatcher. Audio download available at: https://spgass.bandcamp.com/track/linden-hill

Nice video, but, personally, I would much rather listen to the music from 611.

Ha, I don't blame you. I'll upload the video without the song.

I guess all of us steam fans want to hear the locomotive, but I admire your creativity and that song.  Well done!

Agreed, great song, but hearing 611 bark up the hill is awesome to hear and see!

Very nice job!
Enjoyed the uniqueness from the standard railfan videos of constant runbys.
Thank you.
