Here's another slide scanned from my collection.  Norfolk & Western Class A 2-6-6-4 #1218 is seen at Ashtabula, Ohio.  The photographer credit was "Chase."

According to David P. Morgan in TRAINS Magazine , the A was a "high-borne , high-pressure lady", and that the Y-6 just "had no figure control".
