Now that I have your attention, I've never seen this before.  Air powered mover.   Frisco company shot.

That's great - I love it.  Wonder how I could model that...   Hmmmmm.

Here's the Milwukee's version, which ran on a 3000v "extension cord", rather than an air line.

Anybody else got any such critter on extension cords pix?

I dunno what that air machine weighed but it has got hold of a heavy engine.  Amazing it could pull that.

Maybe they were just trying to open the knuckle coupler!!!

When I worked at Collinwood during high school, we had a 2 axle thing with locomotive batteries. It was controlled by a three button switch on a cable.Like an overhead crane. 
We moved locomotives around the shop with it and plugged it in when we went home.

Looks like they used the winch out of a small crane and with some engineering connected it to at least one of the axles.
Can't tell if those "tanks" hold air or ballast.
