According to reports on WCBC (WCBCradio.com), WMSR is vacating the x-WMRY Cumberland station complex on 6/30/2020, and moving all operations to the WMSR Ridgeley, WVA. shops area.

Just speculating, probably moving their offices and staff to Ridgely.

Makes sense to stop paying rent with no revenue coming in if you have a place for staff to work where you own the building. This is especially true since I assume they’re operating with a skeleton crew at the moment.

What is the operating plan? We are now approaching July 4th and no plan seems to be in order.

Has the track damage been repaired to make the line passable to Frostburg?

I guess the main question is will you still purchase tickets and board at the station, or is the customer facing stuff all moving there too. Last I remembered going to the yards it was kind of out of the way in an industrial area on the other side of the river, not a nice place to host public train rides.

If you are talking about the land "slips", they have been repaired for a couple of seasons now.... at least two...

As I said in earlier post, all anyone has to do is set up a level (or use a lock level) and take 16 top of rail elevation, each 31 feet apart from the Turntable,, and send them to me and I will show and tell you if the 2-6-6-2 locomotive will run on the turntable.  I will also tell you if and how much the track in the crossing has to be raised.  So far, no numbers have arrived.

Huh?  Are you replying to a post that was deleted or maybe the wrong post as you statement makes no sense in regards to leaving the Cumberland station.
