Looking for something special to do on the weekend?  This Friday, Saturday and Sunday our new Silver Plume Express service pulled by one of our historic diesel locomotives.  The Express will depart Silver Plume station at 10:00 a.m., 11:25 a.m.  Our conductor will entertain you with the impressive story of the building and operation of  the Georgetown Loop, considered to be a true engineering marvel of its day.  As an added attraction, see the trains pass each other at the historic Hall Tunnel mine providing excellent photo opportunities.
