I wish that our monster Lake Superior & Ishpeming 2-8-0 #33 still had its tender truck-mounted booster engine. Unfortunately, it was removed (and scrapped--Ouch!) by a previous owner before Jerry Jacobson acquired this locomotive from the Hocking Valley Scenic Railway. LS&I #33 is displayed inside the beautiful, 18-stall Age of Steam Roundhouse Museum, so come to Sugarcreek, Ohio, and see it and more than 20 other steam locomotives. We are currently open for escorted tours on Thursday-Friday-Saturday, and tickets can be ordered on our website at: ageofsteamroundhouse.org . Be safe.
