Steam & Excursion > Last of Chicago and Eastern Illinois steam

I really enjoyed the responses to my previous post on the last T&P steam. So I have decided to do another railroad for the same reason. I have found it from American-rails.com that the last Chicago and Eastern Illinois steam locomotive to operate was 2-8-2 #1944. But I do want some more info on either last runs of each wheel arrangement on the railroad or any scrap dates. If there is any info from you guys or any other sources, it will be very appreciative.
