Some of the equipment prices at Ozark Mountain are just insane.  

For example, Westside Lumber Shay #8, which the description says "This locomotive is not in operating condition and needs full restoration!", is listed for $910,000.00.  Is there really a buyer out there who would pay something even close to that price for an unrestored steam engine?

I see that they have the LK&P (Sugar Cane Train in Maui, Hawaii) steam locomotives listed for sale.  I thought that the LK&P had been resurrected.  Has the LK&P indeed turned its last wheel?

LK&P yields conflicting reports, none of which are good. As has been said before, this is what happens when you don't
own your own right of way.
