Once In A While, We Are Lucky And History Repeats Itself!
Author: LoggerHogger

For those of us who were fortunate enough to venture down to Laws, California a couple of years ago to watch newly restored Southern Pacific narrow gauge #18 pull trains around the old depot site, this photo will mean something to you.  We once thought scenes of #18 working through the grass covered track of Laws was just a dim memory to be enjoyed in photos like this one.

Well, we were wrong.  How glad that we are that we were wrong.

I was there when they ran engine 18 at Laws, in 2017. It was great!

There was a pre-covid rumor, that the Laws museum was considering the possibility of extending track south for several miles.
Anyone know the status?

Yes Ron, money and physical ressources ie people to do it. It's been discussed and there's
a great desire to do just what you mention.
