A couple of questions Roger: Did the RPO car have a hot bearing? While you were at the wye, did the daily westbound Antonito-Osier passenger train pass you by? The black lab may have a severe case of happy tail - years ago I had one whose tail end lost hair and was raw from banging against walls, doors, furniture, etc. in the house.
