It appears that 2102 is out of the shop and is undergoing a test fire.

That's great news about my old friend, 2102..
It taught me many wonderful lessons...from 1971 to 1973..

Its great that it'll be out and romping soon..

That's  a wonderful accomplishment.

Wes Camp.

Great news.  Not many steam engines live on home rails.

Being an old Reading Railroad fan, I was on the very first "Reading Ramble" of October 1959 behind #2124, I sure don't know where they cam up with that whistle! I realize that it is their own locomotive, and they can do what ever they want with it, but I would sure like to see 2102 in freight service, with an original Reading T-1 freight whistle, i.e. the "peanut" whistle.

Congratulations to their restoration/rebuild team.
