Strasburg Rail Road in Lancaster
Author: ClubCar

Yesterday the Strasburg Rail Road was supposed to be operating their motor car for trips; however with the heavy amount of snow, sleet, and freezing rain that hit the area the trips were canceled.  It is still snowing up there today and I have to wonder whether or not they will operate anything.  Right now they are operating their diesel switcher and a crew is working to clean out the track switches while it continues to snow.  If they do operate the scenery will be great with the snow.  Strasburg is a well operated railroad for sure.

I don't know if they are operating today, but the snow ended mid-day yesterday, and we had just a dusting overnight. Things on the roads are good to go today.
