Author: RuleG In July 2015, I rode my first, and so far only, Norfolk Southern steam excursion from Youngstown to Ashtabula, OH. The photo shows the 765 shortly after arriving with its train in Ashabula. A large crowd admires the handsome locomotive.

W. (Coal boards and auxiliary water cars have been used for decades.. get over it... Or, YOU cough up the extra money .... for the needed increase Ross's 614 now has 44-ton capacity .. without coal boards ..but, way-reduced water capacity.)
