Steam & Excursion > Strasburg 475, 2013

One more before I wrap up for the day...

In 2013, I made my first visit to the Strasburg Rail Road.  I was going to Altoona for the trips with Nickel Plate Road 765 between Lewistown and Gallitzin, and decided to make it a full week's worth of steam.

This recording was made about the same spot as the recording of #90, using the same recorder and the Shure PG-81 microphones.  #475 made a spirited departure from Cherry Hill, and the sound was carrying well on a cool and overcast morning.
