The last K-4to make this death march was 3858 that kept the Meadows Enginehouse warm for the past winter 1957-1958 and in mid March 1958 steamed into Camden on its own and had it main rod removed and blocked for tow to 46th and Parkside Engine house, Philadelphia.  Not long after it was towed to Modena, PA and cut up next to Luken Steel Mill.  That was not the last Steam in Camden Terminal Enginehouse which was H-9s #685 and B-6 #5244 on quarterly visits for boiler wash That dearheaded down from New Egypt, NJ, the Union Transportation Co. rental.
