THANK GOD, THAT "CORROSION FATE" DID NOT HAPPEN 
TO 4449, UP THERE IN PORTLAND ...

What would our world look like IF The 4449 was in the same state 
of bad deterioration as poor NYC 3001?

Just a nightmare flash, I had..

A world without a Daylight would indeed be empty.  Perish the thought.

Perhaps 4460 could have been revived, but I can't imagine it would have traveled as far or been the joy that 4449 has been.
