NKP 765, old meets the new

After riding on the morning trip of The Joliet Rocket on September 16th, 2018, I picked out a spot behind a small neighborhood in New Lenox, IL to watch the NKP 765 pass that afternoon. I waited about 30 min. for the afternoon trip to come by and I'm glad I shot this on the south side of the tracks as a Metra commuter came by just moments before in the opposite direction of the steam special almost ruining the shot. I felt sorry for the couple of folks down the tracks on the north side as their shot most likely got ruined or altered. Anyway the audio came out very well in this video as the train passed by, but unfortuantely my camera zooming skills were not as good as it got a little blurry when the train passed. So enjoy this video along with some nice stack talk!!!!

Really like that high speed stack talk.  So different than what we typically hear.   Would love to see and hear the J 611 do that or something similar.

My wife and I are the ones hanging out of the second door of the premium fare "open air" car at 1:26. We did all four trips that weekend.
