Steam & Excursion > My Shots Of Big Boy

Due to my work schedule I was unable to photograph the UP 4014 Big Boy until it's return to Cheyenne this morning. I headed up to Platteville for my first shots. I was dismayed to see fog roll in but it eventually cleared. After Platteville I headed up to Speer, just outside of Cheyenne for my second series of shots.

Photo #1- UP 4014 as it rolled through Platteville this morning.

Photo #2- The Big Boy popped over the hill and rolled down the lead to join Track #4.

Photo #3- He crossed over to Track #3 for the trip to town where he would eventually cross over to Track #1 to unload passengers at the depot.

Very nice day for photography....
