Here is what I found online.Garfield Memorial in Toltec Gorge On September 26, 1881, the Association of General Passenger and Ticket Agents held an impromtu memorial service at this site on the Toltec Gorge for the assassinated President James Garfield, the same day that funeral services for him were held in Cleveland, Ohio. They later erected this memorial to Garfield. President Garfield's body is interred with his wife Lucretia at the Garfield Monument, erected in 1890, in Lakeview Cemetery, Cleveland, Ohio.Mile 315.32 in Toltec Gorge, New Mexioc, on the Cumbres & Toltec Scenic Railroad.
