Steam & Excursion > Steam switches revenue in 2006, Tillamook OregonDate: 09/16/22 20:04 Steam switches revenue in 2006, Tillamook Oregon Author: zoohogger Sept 19, 2006. Tillamook Oregon.
The Port of Tillamook Bay Railroad was still in business. The big washout is a little over a year away. On this day there was a special out on the line and Curtiss Lumber # 2 needed to be moved with the cars from the Blimp hangoer to Garibaldi, OR. for the evening excursion. #2 had to wait a bit at Hampton Lumber near 3rd street. Once the special was past, Scott decided to move some cars around to save time the next day. So we see # 2 doing revenue switching. 1. A special from the coast passes and heads towards the blimp hanger and shops. 2. 2 spot sets the passenger cars over and goes to work moving the center beams. 3. Looking towards 3rd street. 5. a move with Scott on the rear. 6. after the work was done, 2 coupled to the passenger cars and headed to Garibaldi.
