Steam & Excursion > T&P #719Date: 01/16/23 10:14 T&P #719 Author: PVSfan You don't see too many photos of T&P steam in New Orleans, much less at the old
Annunciation St. depot (pre-NOUPT). Here's Pacific #719 ready to depart soon with the Louisiana Daylight in 1951. Date: 01/16/23 10:20 Re: T&P #719 Author: kurtarmbruster Sweet! I have a soft spot for those gussied-up TP units, so thanks for the look.

Date: 01/16/23 10:43 Re: T&P #719 Author: PVSfan Sister locomotive #700 survived as Louisiana Eastern #5 in the Paulsen Spence collection until the
early 1960s and then was scrapped by his heirs. A shame! T&P #700 Date: 01/16/23 11:50 Re: T&P #719 Author: tomstp Here are more looks at 719 without the eagle paint scheme. Taking water behind the engine shed in Mineola Tx, , in Texarkana, and finally highballing near Odessa Tx.

As a engine was retired on the T&P if it had a larger tender than a engine in service, the swap was made and that included pacifics, and 2-8-2's.
