B&O 6512
Author: refarkas

B&O 6512 is on the south end of a Cuyahoga Valley Line train in Akron, Ohio on September 27, 1980. When the passengers have detrained, she will pull forward to B&O's Akron Junction where she will wye her train for the return trip. I have no knowledge why steam locomotive Cuyahoga Valley Line 4070 is not on the point. Perhaps she was having a problem, or she needed minor repairs.

Very nice photo as I do love to see B&O locomotives in service.

A great shot once again showing the mostly heavyweight equipment the train used back then.

6512 is still around today. It is currently on Durbin and Greenbrier Valley Railroad's "Shenandoah Valley Railroad," out of Staunton, VA as DGVR 6512.
