I'm almost done with Bill Gwinn's box camera photos. Here are two more.
1.) NYC 6016 is in Linndale in Cleveland, Ohio on April 18, 1954.
2.) NYC 3140 is in NYC's Collinwood Yard in Cleveland, Ohio on September 10, 1954.

I too enjoy NYC steam, especially the Hudsons & Mohawks.  My dad saw a lot of NYC but only had one movie clip of a Niagara, which was on a Cleveland to Cincinnati train. I remember the Mohawks, 2-8-2's and switchers the most during the last days of steam which happened to be around Riverside and Sharonville yards in Cincinnati.  I remember dad would have his choice around 1956 of L&N 2-8-4's, B&O, NYC, and N&W in the area.  PRR went out of steam here around 1953 I think.  I got to see a fair amount as a little boy.  When he had no steam to shoot he pretty much gave up on movies, aside from a couple of foreign trips later on.
Like that shot of 3140.  I like the looks of those much better than the 4-8-4's.  American fans of South African 4-8-4's referred to them as baby New York Central Niagara's!!!

Having grown up in Rochester in the 50's, NYC is my favorite railroad so many thanks for these photos.
I have only a vague recollection of seeing a steam locomotive at that time, and have no idea which type it was.
How sad that NYC management purposely let all the Hudson's and Niagara's go to scrap.
