Believe Cuyahoga Scenic Railroad has been given $14 million to stablize track near the river.  Steam operations are cancelled for 2023.  Hope to see steam return in 2024.

The article linked in the original post states that the Cuyahoga Valley National Park was the recipient of the $14 million grant.
