Steam & Excursion > Santa Maria Valley 205 work train today

Albany & Eastern had Porkey, their ex-Santa Maria Valley 2-6-2, on a work train today.  It ran from Lebanon to Sweet Home with SW1000 GN 3613 for the purpose of helping the City of Sweet Home with a project.  Various photos and videos have been posted to the Albany & Eastern Fan FB page.  I wasn't able to get up there, darn it.  Also, A&E will be running steam excursions this weekend so Winterail attendees can ride Sunday, either 10am or 12:30 pm, short hop from Lebanon to Bauman. (1.5 hour round tri[p).

Thanks for your heads-ups and reports; Roustabout; I’ve always appreciated them, even when I can’t attend. I gotta get to Lebanon.
