On a New Orleans-Hattiesburg roundtrip, the train is in Hattiesburg Laurel Stream is a 6 dbl bedroom buffet lounge built by Budd in 1949. The Lebanon Valley - a 10-6 sleeper built by Budd in 1948. The Bonnie Brook - a 5 dbl bedroom buffet lounge observation built by Budd in 1949 for the New England States. Head of the Southern steam program Jim Bistline (on the right) talks to some fans. Later on the way back to New Orleans there was a runby. Another great trip behind 4501 but after this I read that it did not run again for a while.
